Among the different types of EternaBond sealant tape available is DoubleStick, which includes a layer of adhesive on both sides. DoubleStick, like other versions of EternaBond, can be used on a number of different kinds of material, including EPDM, TPO, most PVC, aluminum, galvanized steel, fiberglass, concrete, and more. It is perfect for commercial roof repair, as well as for window installation or pipe repair.

DoubleStick uses MicroSealant Technology to provide a watertight, airtight, permanent seal. Installation is as simple as removing the adhesive lining as you lay down the tape, while applying pressure to activate the bonding process. It has the added bonus of also being used as a "putty tape", as it also sticks to itself and can be molded to fit in and around other objects. In this way, it can act as a gasket to fill in seams and gaps between surfaces, even if they are two different materials. DoubleStick is very pliable, so it can be stretched, shaped, or rolled to fit the needs of the application. The seal stays liquid tight, yet flexible, so it won't solidify and start to crack away. The tape itself starts to fuse to the surface almost immediately.

Before applying the tape, the intended surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from debris. Products such as EternaClean and EternaPrime can assist with this step. DoubleStick tape is available in 50 foot lengths, in widths ranging from 1 to 4 inches.
