The DuraChoice TW6H60 heavy duty stainless steel 316 thermowell has a 6" stem length with 1/2" NPT female thread and 1/2" NPT male thread. Solid construction. Thermowells protect thermometers and similar instruments from corrosive substances. The thermometer stem sits inside the thermowell, which can transfer the level of heat from the object. Thermowells also let the thermometer be removed if needed, without potentially damaging the tested object. Note: Stem length includes thread length.
