A complete line of DIN 43650 solenoid valve connectors are available through Major Electronix, both as hardwired connectors and molded cable assemblies. DIN 43650 applies to the standards set by the German standard setting organization DIN (Deutsches Institut fur Normung), which are now known as EN 175301-803 standards. These solenoid valve connectors are available in three versions: Form A, Form B or Form C. Each form of DIN connector has specifics which set it apart from the other two.

Form A DIN connectors have 18 mm pin spacing, with U-shaped pins. They are available as either 2 + ground or 3 + ground with the hardwired connectors having PG 9, PG 11, or 1/2? NPT cable entries. Form B connectors have 11 mm pin spacing with flat blade pins, or 10 mm pin spacing with 1 flat blade and 2 U-shaped pins. The hardwired Form B connectors feature either PG 9 or 1/2? NPT cable entries and are 2 + ground. Form C connectors are 2 + ground or 3 + ground with 8 or 9.4 mm pin spacing. The hardwired Form C connectors all have PG 7 openings with flat blade pins.

All three forms are available through Major Electronix from Hirschmann, HTP or Omal, with specialty circuit Form A connectors available from MURR Elektronik. The specialty circuits include Zener Diodes (Z Diodes), Resistor Capacitors, Bridge Rectifiers and Switching Amplifiers. Separate accessories, such as gaskets, grommets and screws can be purchased. Certain Form A connector parts, including circuit modules and measuring adapters are also available.
