The Macromatic ARP024A5 is an alternating relay. This 8 Pin plug-in relay has a control voltage of 24V with a 10A DPDT cross wired output. This relay is used in applications in which the run time of two loads has to be balanced and when more load capacity is necessary. It uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket. A control switch starts the alternating action. The output contacts on the relay switch state when the initiating switch opens, so the loads alternate. The ARP024A5 has 2 LED indicators that show which load energizes first.
