The Hirschmann GECKO 8TX/2SFP (P/N: 942291-002) is a 10 port lite-managed Industrial ETHERNET Rail-Switch that features store and forward switching mode, Ethernet/Fast-Ethernet with Gigabit Uplink, and 8 x 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX, twisted pair RJ45 ports and 2 x 100/1000 MBit/s SFP ports. It also features auto-crossing, auto-negotiation & auto polarity, and a fanless design. Rated IP 30 (Protection from objects 2.5 mm wide or larger). SFP transceivers sold separately.

Auto polarity exchange - If the receive line pair is incorrectly connected (RD+ and RD- switched) polarity is automatically reversed.
Auto-negotiation - a procedure in which the switch automatically selects the operating mode of its 10/100 RJ-45 ports.
Auto-crossing - automatically configures its port for the correct transmit and receive pins
Offers a managed switch in a compact housing
Low power consumption provides cost-effective operation
