The Meltric 63-68142 DSN60 male inlet is rated for 600V and 60A. It features 2 Poles plus ground. It has a wiring capacity of 12-4 AWG with a temperature range of -40 F to 140 F. The body is blue thermoplastic polyester, reinforced with fiberglass, with silver-nickel contacts. The housing is impact resistant and designed to withstand exposure from chemicals and UV radiation. Part of the Meltric DSN Decontactor series of power connectors, the 63-68142 provides optimum safety by eliminating exposure to arc flash. The durable construction is made to last without needing replacement parts right away, thereby reducing costs. The lightweight design does not take up a lot of unnecessary space. When attached to the correct female receptacle, it is ideal for wet or washdown applications in industrial environments, due to the watertight assembly. They also have plug and play capability for a quick, easy disconnect, making for more efficient operation by creating less downtime.
Silver nickel contacts: 85% silver, 15% nickel combination. Creates a durable and highly conductive contact point. Oxidation or tarnishing will not greatly affect its contact resistance. Stands up to repeated connecting and disconnecting
Lockout tagout capability: A 5/16" hole in the plug housing makes it simple to use a padlock on the plug if necessary, in order to keep it from being inserted into a receptacle.
