The Macromatic ARP024A3 is an alternating relay. This 8 Pin plug-in relay has a control voltage of 24V with a 10A DPDT cross wired output. This relay is used for applications in which the run time of two loads has to be equalized and when more load capacity is necessary. It uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket. This relay is used with a control switch, which starts the alternating action. The output contacts on the relay change state when the initiating switch opens, so the loads alternate. The ARP024A3 has 2 LED indicators that show which load energizes first.
