The Macromatic PTA2030S is a percentage timer. This panel mount timer has an input voltage of 120V AC with an output of 10A SPNO and a timer range of 30 seconds. It is used for instances when the ON time when used a percentage of a total cycle time has to be adjustable. This timer is useful for applications such as irrigation, heating & cooling, motors, and chemical feeding. It has an integrated potentiometer for time delay adjustment and remembers the timing sequence in case of a power failure. An LED indicator on top shows the relay status. Termination is possible with bare wire or crimp terminals. Mounting hardware included.

When the input voltage is introduced, the percentage timer relay energizes and the ON time delay (t1) starts. T1 is adjustable as a percentage of the total ON/OFF cycle time (t2), which is thirty seconds. When t1 ends, the relay de-energizes for the rest of the timing cycle. The ON/OFF sequence will then repeat. This continues until the input voltage is removed. The memory feature allows the timer relay to pick up where it left off if the input voltage is taken out and re-introduced. 100% will keep the output constantly energized and 0% will keep it constantly de-energized. The LED on top is steady during the OFF sequence and blinks during the ON sequence.
