Sealcon PG 9 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole cable glands are used to attach cable or wire to various applications in a wide variety of industries. This strain relief fitting provides a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. The cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole in order to achieve this rating. There also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm) of difference between the cable's diameter and the diameter of the hole. Testing may be needed to confirm if the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible. The ACME thread on the CD09A4BR dome top is self locking, ensuring that the overlapping splines apply an even seal. The form seal is then kept from being pulled out of the fitting & provides pull-out protection for your cable so it does not cause damage.
