When coupled with the correct male inlet, it is perfect for wet or washdown applications in industrial environments, due to the watertight assembly. Safety shutter: Covers over contacts before plug is taken out to prevent contact with active components. Shutter is opened when the compatible plug is inserted
Spring loaded contacts: Ensures that the connection has the right amount of contact pressure. Balances out variations in construction and stands up to wear and tear
Quick break mechanism: Disconnect by pushing the button, which breaks the circuit and detaches the plug.
Enclosed arc chamber: Keeps any chance of an arc flash contained inside. Contacts are kept within the enclosure.
Spring assisted terminals: Spring ring provides pressure on the screw terminal and conductor to create a more secure connection
