The DuraChoice TW603H-90 heavy duty stainless steel 316 thermowell has a 9" stem length with 1/2" NPT female thread and 3/4" NPT male thread. One piece solid bar design. Thermowells keep thermometers and other instruments in process systems protected from corrosive or abrasive substances. The thermometer stem sits inside the thermowell, which can transfer the level of heat from the object. Using a thermowell also lets the thermometer be removed if necessary, without having an impact on the tested object. Note: Stem length includes thread length.
