Sealcon 3/8" NPT Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole Strain Relief Fittings, Cable Glands and Cord Grips are used to attach cable and wire to applications in many industries. This fitting provides a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. To make this rating possible, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. The difference between the cable's diameter and the diameter of the hole cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). The NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating can be achieved, as long as there is an ideal fit. The ACME thread on the CD09N2BR dome top is self locking, so the overlapping splines apply a seal that is even. The form seal is kept from being pulled out of the fitting & pull-out protection for your cable is provided so no damage is caused.
