The FF15AF series of fan systems are intended to filter and cool control cabinets, automation equipment & electronics. Several problems, such as data loss, equipment damage or performance failure can occur if the temperature inside an electronic device gets too high. This fan provides the cabinet with ventilation, while keeping inside temperatures down. The filter media protects inside components from dust and debris. As a non-active system, the FF series filter fans control the temperature using the ambient air.
The installation process is simple and efficient. You can just push the filter into the square opening without needing tools. Sliding catches help in the attachment or removal of the cover. This also allows replacement of the filter media from the outside. The seal between the base and cover has been replaced by ribbing that directs water runoff to the outside. Direction of airflow is from the outside to the inside of the cabinet.
