This M12 distribution block is intended to be an interface between the field and control level by sending field-level signals to the controller. By providing a place for multiple M12 connections, it saves additional time and cost, while making it easy to expand. It works for both line and ring topologies. If a connection breaks, the Device Level Ring protocol allows the distribution block to switch to another ring segment. It's ideal for plant and mechanical engineering, as it stands up to exposure from coolants, lubricants, filings, and welding sparks.
