The Macromatic ARF012A6R is an alternating relay. This 8 Pin inner door mounted relay has a control voltage of 12V with a 10A SPDT output. This relay is used in situations where the run time of two loads needs to be equalized. It features a flange enclosure so it can be attached to an inner door. The ARF012A6R features 2 LEDs that indicate the status of the relay. The unit also has a low profile selector switch to lock into one load, so that it is the only one energized, or switch between the two. This can help to even out load usage if one ends up being favored more than the other. A control switch initiates the alternating action. The output contacts on the relay change state when the initiating switch opens, so the loads alternate.
