Mencom M12 Covered Stainless Steel Cordset, 4 Pole, Female Straight, 1 M

The Mencom MDC-4FP-1M-A03 Micro DC (M12) female straight armored cordset features a 4 pin insert, 22 AWG wire and 1 meter of cable. The body is black PVC with gold plated copper alloy contacts. It has black PVC jacketed stainless steel armor around yellow PVC cable, which is rated at 300V and 105 C. Mencom MDC cordsets have an M12 coupling nut and provide plug and play capability for different applications, most commonly for sensors. These molded cable connectors feature an A-coded single keyway and are sometimes called Micro-change connectors.

The 304 stainless steel armor covering the cable prevents damage caused by corrosion, and withstands impacts and abrasions. The 304 steel is resistant to different chemicals, both organic and inorganic, and minimizes the chance of contamination. The PVC jacket around the stainless steel adds a water tight layer of protection. Applications that are in extremely harsh environments are the most benefitted from armored molded cables. Rated IP 69.
