Sealcon 3/8" NPT Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole Strain Relief Fittings, Cable Glands and Cord Grips are used in numerous industries to attach wire or cable to different applications. This cable gland provides a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. In order to obtain this rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. There also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). difference between the diameter of the cable and the diameter of the hole. The NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is obtainable, provided there is an ideal fit. The ACME thread on the CD09N9BR dome top is self locking, so the overlapping splines create an even seal, ensuring that form seal does not come out of the fitting. This provides pull-out protection for your cable no damage is caused.
